[Overstay Fine in Passport]

Good morning. Finally got my application for extension of stay after one visit to Chaeng Wattana and two visits to Nonthaburi immigration because of incorrect advice from my school, incorrect dates on paperwork etc.....

Because of a mistake on the paperwork on Tuesday I had to return yesterday to immigration in Nonthaburi therefore meaning I had overstayed my last visa one day.

I was fined 500 baht and this has been stamped in my passport. Is this a potential future issue entering or leaving the country? Although I know there is not a lot I can do about it I was just wondering.

Thanks in advance....

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience of overstaying their visa by one day due to administrative errors and received a 500 baht fine, which has now been stamped in their passport. They are concerned about possible future implications of this stamp when re-entering or leaving Thailand.

You can do the 90 day reporting online....when the website is working which is about 30% of the time if not less...

Ok thanks Lloyd. My school manager then said do the 90 day reporting at Nonthaburi. I said to her the school told me me before to go to Chaeng Wattana for the extension of stay which you had advised was incorrect and I had to go to Nonthaburi (which was the advice from you and correct). It really is 'p**s up in a brewery' territory with my school......
