Considering an option as I have done 2 land border crossings and would like to stay for 1 more month if possible but if not will fly back.

My current VISA free entry stamp runs out on 12/10 and was wondering (and I know it is up to the I/O at sight) if it would be possible to visit an immigration centre (currently in Bangkok) and get a 30 day stamp. Technically I arrived on 9/8 got 2 land border stamps with the expectation to return but would love another 30 days as seriously planning to retire here soon now

They have previously entered the country and want to know the feasibility of getting an extension at an immigration center in Bangkok. Users have provided insights on the process, including the location of the immigration office in IT Square Laksi Plaza, fees, and whether proof of income or an onward flight is required.

Yes thanks Edward - has anyone used Bangkok for an extension here - just wondering if they will ask for things like proof of income or onward flight

You say that technically you arrived on

(9th August?) - actually, technically you did not. Your last stamp INTO the country from the land border is your arrival date (sometime in September). This matters if you do fill in the forms and apply for the extension.

If you haven't applied for a tourism extension on your current visa-exempt stamp, you can apply for a 30-day tourism extension for 1900 baht fee ONCE.

You are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, just next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line.

You will go here.

You can book online here if you want. They accept walk-ins.

Attached is the general information for the tourism extension.

. I am seriously thinking of retiring here but need a last extension. Given the above is it possible to go to the Immigration centre and get a 30 day extension as I have not used this method before

@Brian ******
yes, you can apply and get an additional 30 days tourism extension on your current stamp, no problem.

Sadly, you have missed this extension with your previous entries. But you know now.
