I visited Thailand end of Sept 24 - beginning Dec 24. 60-day visa exempt + 30 extension. Flying back to Thailand 02 Jan 25 - end of March 25. Any problems envisaged with Thai Immigration at the airport? UK passport holder. Thanks, and apologies if this too basic a question for this group.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about potential issues with Thai Immigration when flying back to Thailand on January 2, 2025, after a previous stay that included a 60-day visa exempt period and a 30-day extension. Comments advise checking the visa dates and suggest carrying three types of entry proof: accommodation, onward travel, and funds to facilitate smooth entry.

Make sure you arrive with the 3 proofs to maximise your chance of entry.

The Three Tourism Entry Proofs :

- proof of accommodation for at least your first few nights (hotel booking or a letter of invite from a Thai)

- proof of onward travel (international travel ticket leaving Thailand within your initial entry stamp exit by date i.e 60 days)

- proof of funds (20,000 Baht or equivalent in any major currency in CASH per individual, or 40,000 for a family)

If you arrived to Thailand 24 September your 60th day was 22 November and that was also the first day of the visa extension. So you have to fly out the 21. December. Check the date of your visa. From 2 January to 25 March that's ok if you have a new visa and you ask the extension in February.
