I have been on an ED visa since 26 june 2021. My visa expires 26 june 2022. i'm leaving thailand 20 june 2022.

But the issue my tm47(notification of 90 days) is expiring on 6 june. The lady at the school said its ok they wouldn't bother me. But i wanted to ask here to make sure.

If i leave on 20 june would i be fined ? For 14 days not reporting.

Any answers would be highly appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about fines for not reporting their TM47 (90-day notification) before leaving Thailand on an ED visa, which expires after their departure. Comments advise that as long as they are leaving the country, they may not face immediate fines, but should cancel their Extension of Stay to avoid issues upon a future return.

If you are leaving for good, you may just forget about it.

But if you are planning to be back to Thailand in your future on any type of Non-immigrant visa, you NEED to cancel your current extension. On that occasion they would know you don't do the 90days report and you might be fined for that.

You need to report that you are 90 days inside the country, even when you leave after 104 days in the country. You will not get fined when you leave the country, you may get fined when you are back in Thailand and try to make a new report if you stay then 90 days or longer.

BTW You also need to cancel your Extension of Stay at the same Immigration Office where you got the stamp, it does not cancel itself or by eaving the country.
