Tod, thank you for calculating an exact 90 days of May 8 2020 per my previous post. Would there be a problem or fine if I were to depart Thailand May 16 without filing a TM.47 form?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they would face any issues or fines for departing Thailand on May 16, 2020, without filing a TM.47 form. According to the comments, if leaving before 90 days, no report is required, but if departing after 90 days, reporting is necessary. Failing to report could potentially lead to fines on the next 90-day report at the Immigration Office.

The way it works:

If you are 90 days inside Thailand you have to report.

If you leave Thailand before 90 days, you have not been 90 days inside Thailand, so no report is needed.

If you leave Thailand after 90 days you have to make the report.

If you do not report it is no problem at the airport, but you could be fined the next 90 day report you make at Immigration Office.
