Hello everyone:)

I have a question regarding the cancellation policy of Non Immigrant ED Visa Extension: will I have any problems at the airport exiting Thailand if I don’t cancel my visa extension in advance? I have to leave Thailand due to personal reasons super spontaneously and don’t have the time to get the paper work. I know that if I ever plan to come back for work I will have to cancel my ED visa extension first and probably have to pay the 20k. But at the moment my biggest concern is whether they will let me exit the country with a not cancelled ED visa extension. Thank you so much

You need to cancel an extension of stay. Visas can not be cancelled.

You will not be questioned by Thai immigration at the airport as you leave Thailand.

You know that means possible difficulty in getting a future visa...

Good luck and safe travels.
