So hotels are saying they cannot use the online system to send the address. Am I going to get fined when I do my extension in BKK?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The initial concern is whether a guest would face fines for visa extension issues due to hotels being unable to use the online address registration system. Comments suggest that there's generally no fine if you go early to the immigration office. Instead, you may be required to self-file your TM30 at the same location, and it's advised to bring a copy of your hotel booking. There may not be a separate application for self-filing.

How do you self file? Is there a separate application for this?

@St***
you bring your hotel receipt and they send you over to counter B so you can self file a TM30 for the hotel you're staying at

yep, that should be it (and proof that you or your land lord filed a TM30 showing you stay there)

No. You might just be instructed to go self file your TM30 in the same building. Bring a copy of your hotel booking, and allow yourself some extra hour(s) in case you are asked to file it.
