Hello,
When I had 50 years old, I got an O-A visa in Paris, then I had many other O-A visas from Paris as, for many years, I didn't do extension of stay but a fresh new visa every year or every two years. Then I started to do extensions of stay (the last 4 years in fact). That spans on many years and so I had to change my passport in 2018.
I just check my previous passport, every visa form from Paris were clearly O-A (not written by hand but computer typed on).
But yesterday, I just had a look at my new passport and, on the firtst two pages, where the Immigration did the stamp "transfert" of the visa, everywhere it is clearly written NON-O or NON-RET or a latge RETIMENT full red stamp.
There is no more any reference to an O-A visa in my new passport. I checked every stamps of the Immigration, no thing like O-A.
So what do you think about that ?
Should I go with all my passeport to the Immigration and asking why I'm no more O-A ? Or should I play "low" profil and act as a NON-0 retired guy ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about why their new passport shows NON-O and NON-RET stamps instead of an O-A visa, which they previously held. They have a history of renewing O-A visas in Paris and have now been issued a new passport, where there seem to be inconsistencies regarding their visa status. The community discusses whether the user should confront immigration about the discrepancies or maintain a low profile regarding their visa status.
