TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether to choose the 'single' or 'family' option when making an online appointment for a visa extension in Thailand, specifically under the categories of retirement based on marriage. Comments reveal confusion about the distinction between retirement and marriage visas, the requirement of having one extension based on either marriage or retirement, and the necessity of ensuring adequate funds in a Thai bank for the extension.

Confusing, you can only get one extension based on marriage or retirement. From what I read, there is no visa, that already expired.

I'm confused. Is it a retirement visa or a marriage visa because it it two separate visas.
there's a retirement visa and there is a visa based on marraige. Two totally different. If it is a Extension based on marraige you bring your wife. If its an Extension based on retirement you can go by yourself.
