OPWhen one extends the visa exempt, does immigration add always 30 days to the last day on the passport or do the 30 days start counting from the day one applies for the extension?

Entering on a 45 day visa exempt entry stamp you would go to the immigration office on the 3rd floor at IT Square Laksi Plaza here
