Visa/Visa exemption advice please (I'm in Bangkok)…..any help greatly appreciated.
I’m Australian and arrived in Thailand on the 45-day Visa exemption. Now I wish to extend my stay in Thailand. From what I have read I can extend one time for another 30 days by going directly to immigration? Can anyone confirm this and let me know which forms/paperwork I need? Thank you so much.
By the way, I have searched myself and found some conflicting advice which is why I am posting here. Keyboard warriors/trolls…. I know you may be having a crap day but try to scroll on if you can’t help.
Cheers all :)
TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian citizen currently in Bangkok seeking to extend their 45-day Visa exemption can do so by visiting the immigration office. They can apply for an additional 30-day extension. To confirm this process, the required documents include passport copies, the completed TM7 form, a photo, and a fee of 1,900 baht. Guidance on the location was provided, specifically suggesting IT Square Laksi Plaza as the immigration office to visit.
