Hello ☺️

I saw this poster in immigration, does this mean that DTV holders can just do their 90 day report online or do you still have to present the immigration in person after doing this online process?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among commenters is that the first 90-day report for DTV holders must be done in person at the local immigration office. Some users have reported that attempts to file online for the first report were unsuccessful and led to rejection. It appears that online reporting is only available for subsequent reports after the initial in-person submission. To ensure compliance, it is advised to check with the local immigration office or try the process online, keeping in mind that personal visits may still be necessary.

at least in Bangkok if you apply with the online 90 day report system the first time after you come in from abroad they reject you and this is in the body of the rejection email

I have seen this post yesterday and got reminded that I have to do my 90 day report 🤣

I tried it online, and it was my FIRST report, all went well💪🏻

Luckily, I don’t have to make my way to immigration.

In my opinion, just try online if it will work all good if not you at least tried.

I’m on DTV, and have 3 days left until my 90days are over…

I tried, yesterday, but didn't work for me in Udon Thani, so I went this morning to the immigration office, in and out in 10 minutes.

Online only possible on second report after most recent entry. First one after entry in person or by physical mail.

And with DTV there will never be a second time, since after 180 days you should have left Thailand, you have started a new visaperiod and have started from day 1 again

I know what you say is true, but I wonder what they don't write it on the ad. Just to confuse foreigners? Haha

The first one you need to do in person, so it depends on if your doing boarder runs every 6 months or not

First report in person. Then, if you can get it to work online, do it that way. I have yet to successfully submit through the online portal though and have no idea why. However, going in person usually takes about 5 minutes tops, so it's nbd.

PS: You must do it 10 days prior.

You can try to do online but for most offices the first report after entering Thailand needs to be in person at your local immigration office.

There have been some posts from people that have managed to do online but a lot more showing rejection and they need to go in person.

Last time I checked with immigration (about 3 months ago), you have to do the first 90 days on-prem (meaning you have to go there), and the second one (if you extend) you can do online.

Best advice is to send an email to immigration in the nearest town and ask them directly.

I did it but some others say doesn't working for them at least try and if you can't do it you have to visit personally the immigration office

@Peter ******
