When can I apply for an extension on a 60+30 TR visa in Thailand?

Afternoon all. 

If we are travelling on a 60+30 TR visa when can we apply for the extension ? 

Could we apply shortly after arrival in Thailand or should we wait until closer to the 60 day date ?

Last time I think I waited a while before applying but I can’t remember if that is because the rules say I have to wait or because I didn’t do it until I actually had to 😀😀😀

That’s going to be office dependent. Some allow 45 days prior, most 30 and a couple only 7. State which office you’d use and someone can advise.

Ok I don’t know that office’s policy. Perhaps others with direct experience can help. I suspect 30 days but very few posts on that office.

All depends where you stay and it's differnt from office to office, up north I could apply 45 days before some office 30 days. Yes you still get an total of 90 days just remember day 1 starts when you arrive
