Hi there. I have a 6 month tourist visa from Canada. It’s valid until February 18th. I have to leave Thailand on January 24th. I wanted to know what you all think would be the best way to maximize the visa. I am thinking I should I leave on January 24th and then when I come back to Thailand go to immigration and pay for a 30 day extension? What would my other options be?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to maximize their 6-month tourist visa, which is valid until February 18th, while they plan to leave Thailand on January 24th. One commenter advises that since it is an unlimited entry visa, the user can re-enter Thailand and receive a new 60-day entry stamp, which can then be extended for an additional 30 days at the immigration office for a fee.
It is an unlimited entry visa and you get a 60 day entry stamp every time you enter thailand. As long as you exit/re-enter just before the VISA expires (which you say is Feb 18th) you will get stamped in for another 60 days and you can extend that by 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht
