When does the extension for my TR60 visa start if I apply early at immigration?

Hello guys

My TR60 expires the 6th of August

I know I can extend it once +30 days

If I go to immigration in advance then extension would still start from the 6th of August or rather from the very day I do apply for the +30 days extension?
