If I get the 60 day COVID extension for my TR, do they add 60 days on to the end of my visa, or is it 60 from the date of the new extension?
Trying to figure out how soon before the visa expires I should go to the office.
Also, which office in bangkok is best to go to?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day COVID extension for a TR visa in Thailand typically starts from the date of application, not the original visa’s expiration date. Individuals have shared experiences that confirm the extension is counted from the application date, regardless of the time left on the current visa stamp. If this is your first COVID extension, it is advisable to apply before your current visa expires. The best office to visit in Bangkok for these services was not specified, but experiences may vary across different immigration offices.
In nakhon sawan the extention starts from the day u apply even if u have 10 days left on current stamp the covid extention starts for the day u apply. That's my experience with immigration in nakhon sawan but ime sure qt different offices people will have different experiences
If you are still on your TR visa or the 30 day extension for your TR, and this will be your first Covid extension, then they will likely start the 60 days from the date you apply.
Each subsequent Covid extension will then add on to the end of the previous one since it's for the same reason.
If you have not yet taken your 30 day tourist visa extension, they will likely make you use that first.
