Hi. Can anyone give me advice on the visa 30-day extension in Thailand? Does the 30 -day extension start on the day of application or the day after the first 60-day tr visa ends? I have to decide when to go to immigration to apply. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 30-day extension in Thailand is added to your existing visa stamp, starting from the expiration date of your initial visa rather than the date of application. It is advisable to apply for the extension when you have less than 30 days remaining on your current visa.

You can usually go for your extension when you have less than 30 days left to your stamp exit date
