I’m arriving on a Tourist Visa on October 31. I’ll want to extend it 30 days. Since day 60 falls on Sunday the 29th I’ll apply on Thursday 26th. 

Question is will my 30 day extension go from the 26th(the date I’m at immigration) or 30 days out from the end of my tourist visa date( the 29th)?

Don't leave it until the last couple of days, go early (unless it's Jomtien and a couple of others where you have to wait until the last week)

You will get 30 more days from the departure date indicated in the stamp you have received in your passport, you can visit imigration earlier if you wish

They add on the days. Most offices allow you to apply 30 days prior to you current stamp. Some will require in the last week.
