I was informed that I need a full 30-day to apply for non-o. My courent TR-60 will expire in 2 weeks time, and I need to extend it.
Is it possible to get it extended before the expiration date and still get 30 days more from the actual expiration date at Bangkok Immigration or nearby immigration offices?
TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user needs to extend their TR-60 visa, which expires in two weeks, in order to apply for a NON-O visa. They are inquiring if it's possible to extend the TR-60 visa before its expiration and receive an additional 30 days. A response confirms that it's possible to extend the visa at the main government complex in Chaengwattana, Bangkok, and that the extension will add more days to their current visa stamp.

Update: I went to Bangkok Immigration today without a TM30. At the counter, the visa official print out my TM30 herself and asked me to sign a signature.
Why isn't there a set standard that all immigration offices have to follow instead of a mix of we want this or we want that or we do not need this or that. Would make it a little easier for everyone to be on the same sheet if music.
most offices allow 30 days prior. Bangkok allows 45 days prior. Absolutely no point leaving it till the last day, just in case something happens and you can’t do it for whatever reason.
