TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 30-day extension on your TR60 visa in Thailand, the best time is typically 30 to 45 days before your visa expires, depending on the immigration office. Some offices, like those in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Buri Ram, allow applications up to 45 days prior, while others may only allow 30 days. You should check the specific requirements for your local office, as they may vary.

I don’t know for certain. From reports here you are supposed to send the test result to the hotel you used for quarantine. You can buy those antigen tests at any pharmacy for approx 200 baht. Others with experience may be able to confirm what they did with theirs.

MTT for visa exempt 30 day entry, CW for TR60 day entry, just to clarify.

Some offices allow 45 days prior (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Buri Ram). Most others are 30 days.

This is the requirement for the Phuket office. Your local office may differ slightly.
