TLDR : Answer Summary
When transitioning from a Tourist visa to a Non-O visa in Thailand, the 90-day report requirement does not apply immediately. You will receive a 90-day timeframe when you switch to the Non-O visa, but reports only begin after obtaining a year extension. At that point, you will receive documentation in your passport indicating the reporting date.

When you change to the Non O you’ll get 90 days. You don’t do a 90 day report on that. It’s only once you get the year extension that you start needing to do the report. At that time they’ll almost certainly put a slip in your passport saying when it’s due.
