When is the date for your next 90 day report after extending your Non O for 1 year? Is it from the date you went to immigration and got the stamp?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After extending your Non-O visa for 1 year, the date for your next 90-day report will be 90 days from the date you received your extension if this is your first extension. If it is not your first extension, it depends on whether a new 90-day report slip was given to you at the time of the extension. If a new slip was provided, the next report date is stated on that slip; otherwise, it is 90 days from your previous report. It's important to check your passport for the specific date. If you missed the reporting date, you can inquire about paying a fine at the airport upon departure, but it's recommended to check with immigration to understand the implications.

Ok looks like a screwed up and missed the date base on the assumption it resets day of visa extension. Can I pay the fine at the airport next time I depart or does the headache that is changwattana await me ?

That date will be stated in your passport, as normal.

If it's your first extension then it's 90 days after you receive your extension.

If it's not the first extension, then it depends on if the immigration office did a 90 day report for you when you received your extension. If they put a new 90 day report slip in your passport with a new date to report next time, then that's the date of your next report. If they didn't then it's 90 days from your previous report.
