Hi everyone

Can I extend a 60 day TR visa by an extra 30 days at the Thai immigration office in koh samui or can this only be done in Bangkok. How early could I apply for the extension. 

Also what about the special tourist visa I've heard about that allows for 90 days, is that still going 

I plan to travel December

1...Yes you can obtain the 30 day extension at your local Thai Immigration office....no need to go to Bangkok.

2...Yes the STV visa is still available and must be obtained in your home country. Note that max stay is 270 days and cannot be changed into any other visa inside Thailand.
