Hi Iโ€™m a uk citizen and spend six months of the year in Hua hin that is two separate three month periods, at the moment that is a two month visa from the uk and an extra month from immigration at Blueport. My question is if on the fifth week i I travel to Vietnam and return a week later does my two month Visa still stand or do I get stamped in for another 30 days if so can o go to Blueport immigration for an extra 30 days, I hope I have explained that ok, thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP), a UK citizen spending six months in Hua Hin, is unsure about the status of their two-month tourist visa after traveling to Vietnam and returning to Thailand a week later. Commenters advise that when the OP leaves Thailand, their current stamp (which includes a month extension) will be canceled. Upon return, they would typically receive a 30-day visa exemption stamp. The OP could then seek to extend this stamp at immigration for an additional 30 days, similar to their prior visa extension process. Some commenters suggest that obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) in the UK might be more beneficial for longer stays.

I stay 6 months in two 90-day blocks each year. I get a multiple entry non-imm O visa (over 50 with state pension) from the UK. This gives a 90 day stay every time I enter during the one year validity of the visa.

Sounds like you need to get the METV multiple entry tourist visa in your home country BEFORE you fly to Thailand. It's ONLY available in your home country, (unless you have residence status in another country).

With planning it can get you up to 9 months stay in Thailand with a few simple LAND BORDER BOUNCE entries or visits to another country and return to Thailand.

Okay, so you initially arrived on a single entry tourist visa that you got from your country before you came, got stamped in for 60 days, then took your one 30 day extension.

When you stamp out of the country the stamp you're here on now cancels and you're done..

If you don't buy a new tourist visa from one of the thai consulates in Vietnam (Hanoi or HCMC) before you come back you'll get stamped back in to thailand on a free 30 day entry stamp (called a visa exempt entry) and you could get an a 30 day extension on that entry as well at the immigration office like you did on the tourist visa entry.

Just keep in mind, you say you want to stay 6 months and the total time you're gonna get off a tourist visa + extension, and a free entry + extension is 5 months
