I’m currently in Thailand on a 30day visa exemption. (UK Passport) I’m heading out to Cambodia and Vietnam for a period of time but would like to come back to Bangkok to fly out again. My 30 days would have run out by then. Is this possible?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original question pertains to the possibility of returning to Thailand after a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam while currently holding a 30-day visa exemption. Answers confirm that upon exiting Thailand, the current visa exemption becomes void, but re-entering Thailand will grant a new visa exemption, typically for 30 or 45 days depending on the date of re-entry. There's no specified limit on the number of times one can utilize this exemption, but travelers should confirm current immigration policies.

Can I just ask do you need to be out for a certain amount of time and is there a limit to number of times you can do this? Just wondering as thinking of exploring SEA.
, There is no written rule you have to be out of Thailand for a certain amount of time to enter again. There is a rule you can enter Thailand twice per calendar year by land on a visa-exempt scheme. But no limit on how many times you can enter on a Tourist Visa by air, and, or sea, or enter on visa-exempt by air. Practically, it's until the immigration office at passport control on your arrival gets doubts on whether you are a genuine tourist for either condition.

Your current visa exempt stamp is void as soon as you stamp out through immigration regardless how many days are left on it but you can easily get a new visa exempt stamp when you come back to Thailand.

You will get a 45 day visa exemption when you re-enter Thailand. (45 days after 1 Oct)
