For the sake of my question, please ignore covit restrictions. I intend to come to Thailand from the UK later this year on a 60 day standard single entry TV. I know i can extend this at the local immigration office by 30 days. At the end of the 90 days i intend to fly to another country and then return to Thailand. I believe i will be granted a 30 day visa (Holding a UK passport).... my question is, can i extend this visa by another 30 days.. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to visit Thailand on a 60-day standard single entry tourist visa, which can be extended by another 30 days. They inquire whether, after traveling to another country and returning to Thailand, they can extend the 30-day visa they would receive upon re-entry for an additional 30 days. A comment confirms that, in the pre-COVID era, this extension was possible, but advises to check current rules due to changing visa regulations.

In pre covid era, yes this could be done, First 60 days with your visa, than 30 days Extension of Stay, leave before these period ends, come back using a Visa Exempt Entry for 30 days and these 30 days could also be extended with another 30 days.

What will happen with the rules between today and later this years is unknown, so please keep updated before you invest in tickets,
