TLDR : Answer Summary
To return to Thailand from England, your dad should follow these steps in this order: 1) Book the flight. 2) Obtain travel insurance that meets the $50,000 COVID-19 coverage requirement. 3) Make a hotel reservation that complies with the quarantine requirements. 4) Apply for the Thailand Pass, ensuring to include necessary documents such as proof of insurance, hotel confirmation, vaccination certificates, and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure. 5) Apply for the appropriate visa (if applicable). It's advisable to check the latest travel regulations and entry requirements as they can change frequently.

Documents for Thailand Pass (TP)

* passport

* flight ticket

* thai pass (QR code)

* negative pcr test (72 hours)

* visa

* paid hotel confirmation (Test & Go)

* Vaccination certificate

* Travel insurance (covid $50,000)

I would apply for both visa and Thailand Pass (TP) at the same time

How I got to get to go to Thailand, It seems like a lot but this should make it easier

1. I am only staying for 28 days so I don’t require a visa

2. Booked a flight (Qatar airways as they offer multiple changes)

Wanted to do Test and Go to Bangkok but that got suspended so I change my flight to Phuket, it couldn’t have been easier

3. Booked hotel, I booked directly with a hotel I knew, they offered the whole package that I needed for the sandbox system (7 nights, 2 PCR tests and Transport from the airport to hotel). The next day they sent me the PDF for the hotel booking with transport and also a PDF with the PCR tests (this all had to be paid in advance)

4. Insurance (also asymptomatic)

I was put on to this lady and she helped me

Comparison of benefits/Coverage:

5. Next up is the Thaipass this is in 5 parts

• Personal info with .jpg of your passport and flight number

• Confirmation of Hotel and Transport to the hotel also a .jpg

• Confirmation of the PCR tests PDF file

• Proof of insurance I also printed and took a photo of it band uploaded the jpg

• Proof of the vaccinations (2 are required and you can add more)

I found the best way was to print these out and take a photograph of them and then upload them as. jpgs. I also took a photo of the QR code separately and uploaded them as well

6. Last is a RT PCR test max 72 hours before departure (I flew over the middle east so I used the flight time from there)

Can get visa first its valid for 90 days from issue. Thai pass is more date specific.

Depends where you are what type of visa you are planning on getting how long that will tske
Mitchell *******
You should check the Thai pass web site (Easy google search), as it has the various entry scenarios. But one of the first things he would need to do is book hotel for the short day 1 and day 5 quarantines while awaiting result.
