I arrive Bangkok on 4 June 2021 based on Non-O dependent on daughter. The visa will expire on 1 September 2021.

First i plan to extend 1 year multiple entry but i heard that the money need to stay in the bank for 2 months. I dont think I am on time for this.

May i know what kind of visa i can apply now before my visa expire on September.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Thailand on a Non-O visa dependent on their daughter, set to expire on September 1, 2021. They are considering extending their visa for one year but are concerned about the requirement of having 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account for at least two months. Community members clarify that there is no need for seasoning the funds for an extension based on having a Thai child and provide details about the process, including application fees and the separation of visa extension and re-entry permits.

For a year extension based on having a thai child you need to have 400K baht in a thai bank account at the time you apply for the extension. There is no official seasoning of the funds for that type of extension.

And just so you're clear there is no "1 year multiple re-entry" extension either. You apply for the year extension for 1900baht, you get a 30 day under consideration stamp and when that runs out you go back and get the year extension inked in, THEN after you have that extension IF you want a re-entry permit you buy one separately (a single re-entry for 1000baht or a multiple re-entry for 3800baht).

Also keep in mind IF you are using your thai child as a reason for the extension and you were not married to the mother when the child was born, you will also need to show proof of legal parental rights <- which are granted either thru family court OR by the local amphur (if the child is old enough)

Just want to double confirm 'no official seasoning of the fund' mean I can bank in the money and stamp the passbook even one week before apply the extension.

, there is no 90 days extension for Non-O entry. You may apply for 1year extension for that reason, 60days for visiting Thai family, or 60days for being unable to travel due to Covid.
