Just got my non-o for dependant and got granted the first three months. After this I can extend it for another year inside Thailand. I wanna do this in Chiang Mai and my question is if they wanna see the 400k thb in the bank account again or it's just needed to get the initial visa?
TLDR : Answer Summary
After obtaining your Non-O visa for dependents, you can apply for a one-year extension in Thailand. Yes, you will need to prove that you have 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account in your name again, although some immigration offices may have specific requirements about how long the funds need to be in the account prior to application. Be sure to visit the immigration office in Chiang Mai to get an official list of requirements and remember to apply when you have 45 days or less left on your current visa.
