Asking for help

Am about to have a job in Thailand but am married and have 2 kids, for the kids the recruiter told me that I could apply for student visas for 3 months and extend them every 3months but for my husband I won't be able to get legal visa except for tourist visa and this one extends only for a month.

But another reCruiter told me that my husband can get dependant visa.

Any advice about how my husband can stay with me if he don't have a job.

And any information about the dependant visa .

Thank u for ur time

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on visa options available for their husband and children as they prepare to work in Thailand. Initial suggestions include applying for a Non-B visa for the user and Non-O or guardian visas for the husband, based on their marriage. The children can obtain education visas for school enrollment, which can be extended. Users highlight the importance of ensuring proper visa arrangements and suggest checking with the Thai embassy for specific requirements.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.

You would get a Non-B <- business visa (and you'll need a work permit too), your husband could get a Non-O visa based on being married to someone who legally works here. You would get the kids ED visas to go to school here.

I have serious qualms about your prospective employer. If they are recruiting you in your home country they should either have all their ducks in row or hire an agency that does this. You do not want to show up here and have your husband have to leave the country after 90 days. Or deal with immigration hassles. I wouldn't take the job without all visas in place for the length of your tenure. I know people who have been recruited by local colleges who have arrived only to find no job, or a job but no visa assistance. This is a nightmare you don't want to live.

come in on tourist visa. children need to enroll in schools and school helps with education visa paperwork. Husband will need paperwork from school and bank account with 500,000 baht in it for guardian visa. Husband visa needs to be applied for outside of Thailand
