TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on suitable visa options for relocating to Thailand with their family, including an 18-year-old daughter who plans to attend Chiang Mai University and a 13-year-old son who will be schooling in Thailand. The responses suggest applying for Non-O visas based on the children's education visas, considering Thailand Elite as an option, and using tourist visas initially to find longer-term solutions.

another thing you and your family might do is come in on single entry tourist visas (especially if the children aren't getting ED visas before you come here) and look for longer term visa options once you're here.

You'll get 60 days on a tourist visa and you can extend that for 30 more at the immigration office. That should give you time to find out what options you have for longer stay.

Each of you (your wife and you) get Non-O visas based on supporting a foreign child on an ED visa here. It'd require each of you to have 500K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 30 days before you apply for a year extension.

Other than that I don't have much to recommend.
