TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have lost your passport while in Thailand and need to extend your visa, the first step is to obtain a temporary travel document or an emergency travel document from the UK Embassy. You can do this by visiting the embassy located on Wireless Road in Bangkok. It is also advised to report the loss to the local police station, as this might help avoid complications during your stay regarding immigration status. Additionally, ensure that you are proactive about managing your visa situation to avoid overstaying.

Get an emergency travel document. £100. Don't simply sit on overstay for weeks.

The UK Embassy don't deal with passport issues.

You need to deal with VFS at the Trendy building.

It might void the need to do one. If you are in BKK you can gotnto wireless road to the embassy to sort the temp one, then go to sukhumvit soi 13 to order a new one. They take 2 weeks
