Hi all. My gf (British)has lost her passport. She lives here in Thailand. How can she fix this situation without leaving the country? Is it possible? Thanks.

2. Take police report and any other means of identification to your Embassy

3. Take Emergency Documents and letter from the Embassy (and if possible, your Embarcation Card) to Immigration to get a new "Permission to Stay" stamp in your Emergency Passport.

She can't leave the country without a passport, so she needs to apply for a new one as soon as possible. If her extension of stay needs renewing she will have issues and she needs to avoid overstaying. As Lynnette says, it might be quicker to get an ETD, go back to the UK and apply there.

She wouldn't be able to leave the country with no passport to travel on. Report loss to police. Contact embassy. There's emergency travel documents if need be. Replacement passport could take a while. Passport office has been on strike.
