What should my bank provide for my DTV visa application after the embassy requested additional documentation?
Dear all,
For my DTV visa application, I submitted a letter from my bank stating that my funds exceed 500,000 baht. However, the Thai embassy has requested another bank statement and another letter confirming that my funds are still above 500,000 baht. I don’t understand why, as I have already provided this information.
What exactly should the bank write in the letter?
Does the bank statement need to be signed on every page?
The statement already shows that my funds exceed 500,000 baht. The bank has also officially confirmed this.
How should the bank statement be formatted to meet the embassy's requirements?

Sometimes they ask for something you've already given to them. Then, just give it again. I have an application ongoing for my mom. They asked as additional documents something that was already given, the only thing they added was "all in one single PDF*". I just did like they asked, now waiting.

This is true, it happened to me. They asked a couple of times for the same thing. Also, be sure to give 6 months of back bank statements.

Normal bank statements from your bank should be used, if they are not in English or Thai you may need to get them officially translated. You don't say where you are applying but different embassies have differing requirements as to how long the 500k must be in your account, some only require it on the most recent statement, some require it on the date of application, some require it to be in the account for 3 months or more

Probably it's more than a week old, you need to upload/submit the most recent statement/bank letter balance as possible. Typically signatures aren't required for application documents, the bank letter should be signed or stamped by the relevant bank officer.

Why? You just send them your statement from your internet or phone banking. No one stamps anything anymore, especially not bank statements.Wannikea *********

It should be a statement ideally, and you can usually generate an updated balance sheet as well. Submit both.Paul *******

What is the balance date on the bank statement you submitted? How many days is it different from the date you submitted your visa application?

I submitted visa application started around March 10th I submitted all on March 21st their request for statement is from March 24th my account cover letter is from March 28th the statement is from *****

- My understand (not the expert), but this is what they want to see. They want to see that it is a real account with transactions in and out. I actually shared 3 months. I tried to redact stuff, but I just gave up and shard, not like I had anything to hide.Giovanni *************

I avoided putting the payments on paper like this (there are the received transfers, the paid bank transfers, the deposits, the withdrawals and the credits) in total there are 8 pages if I attach the one with the card payments there are 31 pages. maybe it's better if I attach the 31 page card payments one?Kyle **********
