The requirements are different for each embassy. You should contact them if you have a doubt. You can refer to the requirement pdf. In the Chennai embassy pdf it is written, requirement of no less than 500k or 10 lac but for Mumbai it is written, requirement of not less than 500k or 10 lac for the last 6 months.
