I was approved in Vietnam with an US passport. I applied first with an account in my only my name with the equivalent of about 750,000 baht. I used a joint bank account with my spouse to apply and qualify for my spouse and 2 children. That account had the equivalent of about 2,000,000 baht.

I got it with 500k both for me and my wife. Same account and same balance.

I just had to write a sponsorship letter for my wife that I’ll be sponsoring her
