Hi, I'm about to apply for a Non 'B' Visa (employed by educational institution) at the consulate in Savannakhet. Who can give me a heads-up as for the asked-for documents in recent times, i.e. 2018?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non 'B' Visa at the Thai consulate in Savannakhet, you will need to submit copies of your passport along with the necessary paperwork provided by your educational institution. It's also advisable to check the requirements listed on the consulate's website to ensure you have all the correct documentation.
How about having the people from your school read the requirements on the thai consulate in Savannakhet's website? Most people actually go to Vientiane rather than savannakhet so I think you're not gonna get a lot of Non-B people who pulled visas from there.
Yes, I am planning to point them to the website. Another teacher at the same school, however, told me that they didn't give him all the required documents, so I'm a bit worried whether I'll have all the documents they ask for in Savannakhet.

Copies pasport and all the paper work your school provides you.

If I translate the link Tod provided I don't see a police clearance. But let your school read the Thai text.
