I'm doing my first Visa extension in Bangkok (previously have always extended in Chiang Mai) & curious as to any advice on best office to visit and any procedures/quirks of applying in BKK that I should be aware of.

If you've extended a 30 day visa exempt in BKK, please share any tips/advice. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending a visa in Bangkok for the first time, it's generally straightforward. You will need copies of your passport data page, entry stamp, and TM.6 departure card, along with a filled-out TM.7 application for extension and a passport-sized photo. Make sure to include your full address in Bangkok. For the best experience, visit section K-1 in the morning to avoid crowds.

It's pretty easy. Copies of the data page of your passport, your entry stamp and your TM.6 departure card, a filled out TM.7 application for extension and a passport sized photo. Make sure you have your complete address in Bangkok (with the District/Sub-district)

You go to section K-1. It's usually not as busy in the morning as it is in the afternoons (possibly because tourists don't get up all that early ;) )
