OK. I am in Chiang Mai on a visa exemption. 

Looking to extend for 30 days. 

Is this the same process as it was 2-3 years ago? (Which was turn up, get photos, fill in forms, hand over with cash, wait a bit... wait a bit more and here's your extension). 

Or do I need a TM-30 now and, if so, how do I do that? 

Any relevant advice is appreciated. Thanks.
