I recently moved from Bangkok to Hua Hin. I have my TM 30 all done by the owner of my residence and I just for the first time did my 90-day check-in online. Once I hit submit I got a TM 47 form does this mean it is complete and approved or is there another step for verification by email. The p.m. 47 was all filled out when I did the application staying longer than 90 days online and it gave me the completed form after I hit submit is there more information to come by email this was my first and I'm just wondering if it was successful
Answer summary
After you submit your online 90-day report using the TM 47 form, you will receive a confirmation indicating that your application has been received. This does not mean it is fully approved. You should wait for further emails notifying you whether your application is approved or rejected. Additionally, if this is your first 90-day report, you are generally required to submit it in person. However, if you have a valid TM 30 and had discussions with immigration officers, you may be able to file online for future reports once your initial report has been approved.

My experience is for the first 90 days report after you moved you have to do it in person

Easy solution is, login to TM.47 web system and check you report status. Your latest one might be still “pending”. Once your application is approved, the status of the recent report is changed to “approved”. You can download the receipt from the system as well even you don’t check the emails.

You need to understand how the online 90 day system works.

When you submit a 90 report online you immediately get an email headered

[TM.47] (PASSPORT NO : *********) FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS RECEIVED

That doesn't mean anything other than they received your application.

Then you wait until your either get this email

[TM.47] (PASSPORT NO : *********) FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS HAS BEEN APPROVED

Which means your 90 online application was approved and you print out the attached PDF file that is your receipt

OR

You get this email

[TM.47] (PASSPORT NO : *********) FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS HAS BEEN REJECTED

Which means your report was not approved.

From what you say you've just submitted an online 90 report application and gotten the confirmation email, so you wait for the next email.

how long does it usually take to get the approved or denied email once I have done what I've done so far

well seeing as yesterday was a holiday I'd say give it 3-4 days, you'll get the email notification one way or another, just wait it out

the officer was not 100% correct,

you DO have to file the first 90 day report in person (y)

BUT

the TM30 system and the TM47 system cross check each other and unless you have an exact match when you fill out the 90 day report it will reject it.

That's why she said now you can use the online using the exact info as it appears (you will have to be careful how you write the address to make it match)

I have a valid team 30 for the address I am at the reason I was rejected was I had not yet done an in-person 90-day report when I went and talked to the immigration officer she told me there is no tm-30 number the address on the tm-47 is now linked to the tm-37 because I've gone in in person I can now do it in the future online using the exact information as it appears on the TM 30 and links automatically and should be approved that way. Thanks for your help cheers
