TIA, a quick question w.r.t 90 day reporting ( TM47), as this would be my first time staying in the kingdom continously for over 90 days by to the time I fly out in Oct. European with covid ext good till end of october ( for tourism purpose). And the hotel I am staying at ( for the full duration) has properly reported/filed TM30 accordingly... Question, 1) do I need to make the 90 day reporting? ( Would be my first time ever) 2). The hotel has called the division1 3 times ...each time w different answers ...even I checked website ...I got even more confused - 3), do I need report in person? Or online or by post would be adequate ... ( As I too get different answers from different officers) ... Thanks again

TLDR : Answer Summary
The necessity of filing a 90-day report (TM47) during your stay in Thailand under a COVID extension varies depending on the office you report to. Some offices may require it, while others may not. Given the conflicting information you've received from your hotel and the website, it would be best to clarify with the specific immigration office you are connected to about their policy regarding your situation.

The answer is that it is office dependent as to whether you’d need to file a 90 day report on a Covid extension. Some insist. Some don’t. If you state the office you use then others may have direct experience of that office’s policy

@Stuart ********
I filed and acquired covid extend at IT square Lak si...and they never asked me to file ... Because previously ( in Feb 2022) I did the extension+ covid ext in division 1 HQ ( entered with 60day TV instead of visa exempt this time) ...they did ask me to do the 90D reporting on or before certain day...but I had to fly out of the country before that ... So when I obtained my covid ext this time at lak si... I too inquired about the 90D... The visa officer replied that they did not know and I'll have to refer to HQ division 1 by myself ... And that's all the confusion started ( every call I got different answers...sometime even w same person @ division one.. official website didn't make it clearer either .... Thanks again for input u may have ...
