Hi All - i have my first 90 day check-in coming up in a week. I have a WP and am supposed to be living in Bangkok but because we are all WFH I decided to rent a place out in Pattaya for a few months instead. Does anyone know if I can do my first 90 day check-in in Pattaya or if I have to go to Bangkok? Any proof of address that I need to bring along with me?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asked if they could complete their first 90-day check-in in Pattaya instead of Bangkok since they have been working from home there. Comments indicated that while typically the report should be done at the immigration office where the visa was issued, it's possible to file the report at the local office in Pattaya if a change of address is submitted. Others shared their experiences of reporting in different locations based on their actual residence, suggesting that exceptions exist.
My visa is issued by changwattana and my WP attached to my organization that is based in bangkok, i live in Phuket and have been doing all my 90 days report at Phuket immigration. I have been doing this for 2 years, and had bith my visa and WP renewed showing my address is in Phuket
strange because usually you do a 90 day reporting at the office where you live (which is also the office where you get your extension) BUT I do know that the Mormon missionaries scattered around the country get their extensions at Chaengwattana (no matter where they're 'stationed' in the country) and they can do their 90 day reporting at the office where they live
I used the Mormonz as an example because they have a couple HUNDRED people here on extensions from Bangkok who live and do 90 day reporting in the provinces they're stationed in.

As Piet said, you could file a change of address and a TM30 form using the address where you are now and then file a 90 day report at the immigration office in your area.
I'd go to the Jomtien office and see what they say about it, I mean the worst they'll say is no you can't file at this office and then when ever you come back to Bangkok you file late and take the 2000baht late to file fine.

You can file a 90 day report by mail in Bangkok;
You need to postmark the envelope 14 days before the due date, and include a stamped self addressed envelope to get the receipt mailed back
