What should I do with my Non-Immigrant O visa before my departure from Thailand in May?

Hi, I'm Swiss and already used all 3 tourist 30 days stamp entries into Thailand. Before Songkran I got the Non-Immigrant O visa (see picture). I will leave Thailand mid May for travelling around SE asia but I have my flight back to Switzerland on the 16th July. As the visa is only valid until 8th July, can you help me to figure out what I need to do? Re entry permit? Many thanks!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Swiss national, inquired about the necessary steps regarding their Non-Immigrant O visa, which is valid until July 8th and their travel plans that include leaving Thailand in mid-May and returning to fly back to Switzerland on July 16th. The community provided advice on obtaining a re-entry permit, the potential need for a visa extension to cover the return stay, and the importance of having a work permit for volunteering.

Seems it's being used as a tourist visa?

Yes I understand that Robert. I've asked if there is actually a work permit.

Not save, it is the only way to official work as volunteer, correct visa and work permit, With the tourist visa employment prohibited even as volunteer.

I can not read the Thai text on the left side, but I guess it is the name of the volunteer organisation. Non O based on being a volunteer?

There is a reason I'm asking if she actually has a work permit after entering on the Non O only to leave 6 weeks later to travel and attempt to reenter again on a visa exempt entry.

Nothing wrong
@Al***
. The work permit is just a very good advice and the name of the organisation is there in case you go Immigration for Extensions of Stay, only that organisation can support your application.

I'm noticing the sticker on the visa advising to apply for a work permit and being told to present it.

The visa on the picture is used and invalid, nothing more than a memory in your passport. You did get on entrance a new stamp Admitted until ../../.. (date). If you leave with a re-entry permit and come back you will get stamped in again with the same date. If that date is after 16 July is it no problem otherwise you need a Visa Exempt Entry for 30 days.

Which I'm trying to avoid :-) so i just can leave and fly in again without any problem and get those 30 days - right? That would make life so much easier.

If you have the re-entry they will use it and stamp you in till 8 july. That means you have to leave again and come back to cover the last 8 days. Lots of extra costs and travels.

got it! This is such a precious info for me, I thought there's a max of 3 times for all transportation ways together. But I still have to request the re entry permit before I leave Thailand, even if I fly into TH?

What you call 30 day stamp is called a Visa Exempt Entry, you can only use twice of them entering by land border but there is no official limit when using airports. So fly in and you will be okay to get another 30 days, which you can extend with another 30 days just in case. With the re-entry stamp you only get stamped in till 8 July 2018 and that is 8 days short till your exit day.

Ok, so that's the last stamp I got when I used the visa. At the date I enter TH again, will I get another 30 days in Thailand because of the re entry permit? Which means I need to enter before 8th July? Or can I enter after 8th July as well? How do I get a visa exempt entry? Thanks for your help!
