TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a Non-Immigrant O-A retirement visa with a validity until July 13, 2018. There is a discussion on whether a re-entry permit is needed before traveling to Malaysia, depending on their return date. It is clarified that as long as they return before the visa's 'enter before' date, a re-entry permit is not necessary. After July 13, a re-entry permit will be required to maintain their status in Thailand.

It seems you have the Non Immigrant O-A visa. This visa gives you 1 year admitted to stay on every entry before the valid until or enter before date mentioned on the visa.
Thanks. Under the text "No of Entries" on this visa their should be the letter M. This means multiple entries. If this is correct you can leave Thailand and come back as many times as you like till 13 July 2018 without the need of a re-entry permit. On every entry you wil get stamped with 1 year admitted to stay, after 13 July 2018 you will need the re-entry permit to keep your admitted to stay period alive.
