What should I do if my O visa expires before my planned departure from Thailand?

Hi guys. So I am here as a dependent (O visa) on my husband's non-imm B visa and I am about to leave the country and come back in on a volunteer visa so I can get a work permit. Stupidly I didn't check the date on my visa when I booked out tickets and it expires 3 days BEFORE I leave. What are my options? I don't think I can renew the O visa because I would have to cancel it before I leave and there won't be enough time. Should I just change my ticket to leave earlier. Other options?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Thailand on an O visa as a dependent of a husband with a non-imm B visa. They face a problem as their O visa is set to expire three days before their planned departure, and they are considering changing their plans to come back on a volunteer visa for a work permit. Users in the comments suggest applying for an extension of stay at immigration, but warn that getting denied could result in a fine and may require leaving the country sooner.

You can go to immigration and apply for extension of stay, don't take any papers other than your passport. Application get denied and you will get 7 days to leave the country, you will have to pay the fee of 1.900 Thb.

Easiest solution for sure. Overstay can be risky and as Trevor said it’s not good to have it on your passport.
