What happens to my O visa if I travel to Sri Lanka before it expires?

Hi All

So my O visa from UK runs out on 4th Feb 2020. Doing our last 90 day run on 3rd Feb.

Which then takes us to begin of May.

We wanted to do a trip to Sri Lanka in March 🏏. If we do will the return date counteract our visa stamp and if we did go, when we fly back to Thailand on 25th march what stamp will they give us if any. Hope iv explained that enough. Thanks chaps.

On 3 Feb you make a border runs, as Benjamin calculated you get a stamp until 2nd May.

If you get the Single Re-Entry Permit before you leave, visit Sri Lanka, on return fill in the Re-Entry Permit numbers as visa number on the Arrival card and you get the same date until 2nd May.

You can do at your local Immigration Office or at the last moment just before passport control at the Bangkok Airports, Not sure where they are located on other international airports

Failing that you'd just get a 30 day visa exempt stamp on your return as your visa would be finished when you left to go to Srilanka

Just get a re-entry permit before you leave Steph, that will keep your admitted until date valid for 90 days from 3rd Feb. Re-entry permit is 1500 baht

Our visa expires. So as boys have told us we doing our final 90 day stamp on 3rd Feb.

When you enter on February 3rd, you'll have to depart by May 2nd (according to Google). To keep your stamp valid, buy a re-entry permit at your local immigration office.

When does your visa expire again? Does it expire on 4th Feb 2020? Or is that when your entry stamp expires?
