We are leaving Thailand in 2 days. My child 2 and half years old had entered with TR and now overstaying. I understand there is no fine for the children under 15 years old for overstaying. Only overstay stamp will be on her passport upon departure.

What should I prepare before going to the airport? Just check in and walk through the immigration check at the airport and then overstay stamp will be on her passport? Or is there any place to get overstay stamp before check in at the airport?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to leave Thailand with their 2.5-year-old child who overstayed on a TR visa. They seek guidance on the necessary steps at the airport regarding the overstay stamp on their child's passport and whether special procedures are needed during immigration.

I recommend crossing through passport control as normal. They *may* have a special "overstay" lane that they will direct you to. Just follow Passport Control's instructions and you'll be fine 🙂
