TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the potential issues their 5-year-old son might face entering Thailand due to a 2-month overstay stamp. Community responses indicated that children under 15 typically do not face overstay fines or bans, and previous experiences suggest that minors are generally not questioned about their overstays when re-entering the country. Overall, it seems likely that the child will have no issues entering Thailand.

i know of foreigners who have children here on multi-YEAR overstays who've exited/re-entered the country without issue. As

pointed out there is no overstay fine for children under 15 and there is no overstay banning for children under 18.

He should have no issues entering the country.

Children don't get overstay charge, usually. So I don't think they punish children.

I do not see any reason why Immigration Officers will put aside and question a 5 year old about overstay stamps in the past.

To avoid being worried, avoid overstay stamps at all time.
