I am planning to visit in November for 45 days then again from Mid Jan to Early May and I may leave in Feb for 10 days I know I can extend my tourist visa on 1st trip but unsure how to do 2nd trip ..im in my 50s...would it be simpler to do a multi entry retirement visa during 1st trip or something else ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the optimal visa options for visiting Thailand several times within a short period. A tourist visa can initially provide 60 days, and it can be extended once for another 30 days. Alternatively, a multi-entry tourist visa allows for multiple entries over six months, granting 60 days per entry. A retirement visa, while providing a longer stay initially, may complicate the traveler's plans due to its restrictions on re-entry.
