TLDR : Answer Summary
An Austrian citizen in Thailand with a Non-B multiple entry visa, valid until November 2020, is seeking advice on avoiding overstaying their visa due to lockdown restrictions that prevented border runs. They also mentioned applying for a Smart Visa and waiting for a response, which may not arrive before the amnesty ends. A comment suggests obtaining a letter from their embassy indicating travel restrictions, which could assist in applying for a 30-day extension.

get a letter from your embassy stating you can't travel and go apply for the 30 day extension

and what if your embassy won't give you a letter?

,

If your embassy won't issue the letter you get a letter from a doctor or hospital stating you cannot travel and apply for a medical extension OR as it sits now you get out on or by the 26th of Sept.
